Reaching the zipline takes players through nearly all sections of the Picnic Table, the first part of which becomes available after blowing up a cracked rock that tips over a shovel, forming a bridge to the bench. Before players even consider approaching the Picnic Table, they should consider the presence of a perilous flying enemy type that roams this location, the bees from Grounded's updates. Alternative ways to reach the Sandbox are to travel through the Black Anthill or simply build up past the large perimeter. The easiest ways to reach the Sandbox in Grounded are through the zipline located at the top of the picnic table, which can be accessed by tipping over a shovel and book to reach its higher sections. Players may need to be extra careful exploring the Sandbox, however, as the Sizzle debuff in Grounded weakens any survivor that occupies the area during the day without proper protection. Buried Treasure also can be found in the Sandbox if players happen to have the Black Ant Shovel, unveiling items like the Sunken Bone or Mint Shard. Fierce opponents in Grounded, Antlions, and a single Wolf Spider hiding beneath a plastic toy have great rewards for defeating them for particularly brave players. These treasures found in the Sandbox are hard to obtain because of the Antlions that occupy the area. Players should properly prepare before adventuring into this region, as it benefits survivors who are already equipped with the right gear for the journey. The Sandbox might be the most dangerous location in Grounded next to the Flat Stone, with challenging enemy creatures and a harsh environment making it difficult to stay long.
